Local Missions
We are grateful to support a number of local ministries and organizations that serve children, youth, families, and individuals in need throughout our wider community.
- Vacation Bible School (VBS)
A summer program that helps children learn about God through Bible teaching, music, games, crafts, and friendship. - SU Sports Camp
A summer camp experience that gives children opportunities to build friendships, stay active, and learn more about God in a fun and welcoming setting. - Coffee Break & Story Hour
A welcoming ministry where women can gather for conversation and Bible study, with Story Hour providing care and activities for young children. - Community Outreach
A ministry that supports community events through things like art nights, quilting groups, mens and women's groups, choir gatherings, fundraisers, and worship outside.
- Conestoga Bible Camp
A Christian camp that gives children and youth opportunities to grow in faith, build friendships, and enjoy outdoor experiences. - Countryside Camp (Camp Shalom)
A summer camp and retreat ministry that creates space for fun, community, and spiritual growth in an outdoor setting. - New Life Charity
A counselling ministry that offers professional support, care, and hope to individuals, couples, and families. - Ramoth House
A ministry that provides safe housing, support, and parenting help for young women who are pregnant or parenting an infant.
- Drayton Youth Centre
A community space that supports local youth by offering connection, encouragement, and positive opportunities to gather. - Safe Families Canada
A ministry that surrounds families in crisis with practical care, support, and a trusted network of compassionate volunteers. - Redeemer University
A Christian university in Ontario that equips students to grow academically and spiritually while preparing for lives of service. - House of Friendship
A local organization that supports people experiencing homelessness, addiction, food insecurity, and other challenges through practical care and community programs.
Other DRC Community Projects
- Deacon Fund – A DRC in house ministry that supports church and community members in times of need
- Abound Group NDSS – A ministry that supports Christian youth at a local high school
- Member Missions – A ministry that supports church members to participate in mission trips, locally and abroad
- CS Leadership – A fund that sponsors youth taking the Discipleship Program at Camp Shalom
- Community Outreach – A fund that supports community events and outreach programs such as Block Parties, Drayton 150, Newcomers Lunches, Lenten Teas and other special events.
- Corey Dekker Fund – A fund that supports youth pursuing Christian missions, leadership, or other opportunities to grow in their faith
